The American Orthopaedic Association and the Canadian Orthopaedic Association selected five American representatives and two Canadian representatives to participate in the fifty-first ABC Exchange Fellowship. The five American Fellows were Paul Di Cesare from the Hospital for Joint Diseases, New York, N.Y.; Cato Laurencin from Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann Medical School and Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Lawrence Lenke from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri; Regis O'Keefe from the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York; and Kurt Spindler from Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee. The two Canadian representatives were Guy Grimard from Hôpital Sainte Justine, Université de Montréal, Montréal, Québec, and Emil Schemitsch from St. Michael's Hospital at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario.
