This book was written with the purpose of providing a comprehensive description of soft-tissue reconstructive procedures in the adult upper extremity, excluding the hand. The title is potentially misleading in that this is not a text concerned with microvascular reconstruction. Rather, it presents the approach of a well respected upper-extremity surgeon to a variety of clinical challenges that he has encountered.
