TO THE EDITOR:

"Current Concepts in the Treatment of Fractures of the Radial Head, the Olecranon, and the Coronoid" (77-A: 316–327, Feb. 1995), by Morrey, was a good review of fractures about the elbow. However, there is a point that we have found troublesome regarding the treatment of fractures of the radial head with radio-ulnar dissociation. Morrey advocated distal ulnar resection, but it is not clear whether he meant shortening or Darrach resection of the distal aspect of the ulna.
