This book is one of nine in the Master Techniques series, with Roby C. Thompson as the series editor. The over-all premise of the series, including this volume, is to present clearly the operative techniques of orthopaedic surgeons known for their experience in their respective areas. The format of operative photographs and adjacent illustrations is appealing and highly effective in accomplishing this goal.
