The second edition of this excellent book on bone tumors is based on the extensive collection and experience of Professor Schajowicz, whose untimely death occurred just after its completion. A renowned pathologist who was educated in Vienna, Schajowicz spent most of his professional career in Buenos Aires, where he established the Center for Bone and Joint Pathology at the Italian Hospital and the Latin American Registry of Bone Pathology. His collection of data on more than 6900 tumors and tumorlike lesions forms the basis of the book's statistical analysis.

The first edition received outstanding reviews in both the American and the British volumes of The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, and it has become the most influential text on the subject since that of Jaffe. This . . . [Full Text of this Article]
