Renal rickets is a condition in which bone deformity of the late rickets type is associated with renal disease. An investigation of this type of case has shown that 33% have definite renal inefficiency, and 54% reveal some renal defect. Sufficient evidence has been found to warrant the suggestion that the disease may be due to a fibrosis of the suprarenal gland.
