ERRATUM
In the article "Recurrences after Initial Dislocation of the Shoulder. Results of a Prospective Study of Treatment" by Hovelius et al. (65-A: 343-349, March 1983), there were a number of errors.
On page 343, the first line of the Abstract should read: "During the years 1978 to 1981, the results in 257 patients with a primary anterior dislocation of the shoulder were prospectively studied."
On page 345, right-hand column, the sentence beginning on line 9 should read: "In the age group of twenty-three to twenty-nine years, the corresponding figure was fifteen (25 per cent) of sixty patients and in the oldest age group, nine (10 per cent) of ninety-five patients had two or more redislocations."
On page 346, left-hand column, paragraph 3, beginning on line 17 the text should read: "This difference is highly significant (p < 0.001). Regarding fracture of the greater tuberosity, the incidence in the age group of twenty to twenty-two years was one (3 per cent) of thirty-three patients; in the group of twelve to thirteen years, the incidence was three (43 per cent) of seven patients; and in the age group of thirty-four to forty years, thirteen (30 per cent) of thirty-three. "The remainder of the paragraph is correct.
Table IV (page 347) appears here in the correct form.
