Total hip arthroplasty in Paget's disease of the hip
RN Stauffer and FH Sim
For thirty-two patients with Paget's disease of the pelvis, mechanical
disruption of the hip joint caused sufficient pain and disability to
require total hip-replacement arthroplasty. Three of the patients had had
fractures of the femoral neck. No unusual complications were encountered
and the results were excellent.
