Giant-cell tumor of the radius treated by massive resection and tibial bone graft
CJ Campbell and BA Akbarnia
Six cases of aggressive or malignant giant-cell tumor of the distal end of
the radius were treated by massive resection and reconstruction using a
corticocancellous autograft taken from the tibia. There was no local
recurrence or metastasis noted on follow-up (average, eight years and three
months). An excellent functional result was achieved in each case.
