Congenital Constricting Bands and Congenital Amputation of the Fingers: Placental Studies

In two infants with multiple involvement with congenital bands and partial amputation of the fingers, gross and microscopic examination of the placenta served to substantiate the concept of amnion rupture during development as the cause of the abnormalities.
