Anterior Slipping of the Capital Femoral Epiphysis

REPORT OF A CASE

The case of a white boy, fourteen and a half years old, who sustained an anterior slipping of the capital femoral epiphysis is reported. A thorough review of the literature failed to reveal any previous reports of this type of slipping. The mechanism of injury is discussed.
