Periosteal Myxoma of the Femur

A CASE REPORT

An unusual case of periosteal myxoma arising from the femoral shaft in a young. adult is described. The clinical features, the roentgenographic changes, the microscopic appearance, the varieties of the tumor in the long bones, and the treatment are discussed.
