The Modified Blair Fusion for Fractures of the Talus

Eight cases of fracture dislocation of the talus and two cases of avascular necrosis of the body of the talus following undisplaced fracture of the talar neck are presented. A modification of Blair's tibial-talar neck arthrodesis in the treatment of these problems is described. Results were uniformly good to excellent in this small series of cases.
