Central Acetabular Fracture Secondary to Epileptic Seizure

It appears that our patient sustained a central acetabular protrusion fracture on the right side secondary to an epileptic convulsive seizure. It is probable that the identical fracture on the opposite side, sustained one year previously, occurred by the same mechanism. Bilateral post-traumatic protrusio acetabulae can occur secondary to epileptic seizures (Fig. 3).
