Translocation of the Abductor Pollicis Longus Tendon

A TREATMENT FOR CHRONIC SUBLUXATION OF THE THUMB CARPOMETACARPAL JOINT

A new method of treatment for recurrent dorsal dislocation of the first carpometacarpal joint by means of a simple volar translocation of the abductor pollicis longus tendon is described, with a satisfactory long-term result.
