The Manifestations of Arrested Bone Growth—The Appearance of a Vertebra Within a Vertebra

An interesting roentgenographic phenomenon of a vertebra within a vertebra has been presented which is thought to be the result of temporary arrest of bone growth. Its outline demonstrates how a vertebral body increases in length and width.
