Transforaminal Ligaments of the Lumbar Spine

This is an anatomical study of the lumbar intervertebral foramina, describing study ligaments which traverse the foramina and diminish the space available for the passage of the nerve root. The clinical significance of these ligaments has not yet been assessed.
