Recurrent Periosteal Chondroma

REPORT OF TWO CASES AND A REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

JEROME S. NOSANCHUK M.D.1 and HERBERT KAUFER M.D.1

1 From the Departments of Pathology and Orthopaedic Surgery, The University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, and Wayne County General Hospital, Eloise

Two cases of recurrent periosteal chondroma are described and the roenstgenographic and histopathological findings presented. The established tendency for recurrence in these lesions justifies block excision rather than enucleation.
