Compensatory Pelvic Osteotomy for Ankylosing Spondylitis

A patient with ankylosing spondylitis, treated by compensatory pelvic osteotomy, has been described. We believe this to be a safe practical procedure which offers such a patient with fixed flexion deformity of the spine significant functional improvement.
