Polypropylene Hinges for Hand Splints

A simple method of fabricating the lateral hinges of hand splints from polypropylene rod has been described. This cold-forming technique provides a simple and accurate method of aligning the anatomical and mechanical axes of motion with a lightweight, cosmetically acceptable material at a minimum cost.
