Deep Ulnar-Nerve Paralysis Resulting from an Anatomical Abnormality

A CASE REPORT

The importance of this case of isolated atrophy and paralysis of the first dorsal interosseus muscle of the hand, resulting from an abnormality in the anatomy of the deep ulnar nerve, would seem to be twofold: it is a unique abnormality not previously described, and it has implications as an etiological factor in isolated hand-muscle atrophies.
