Treatment of Congenital Dislocation of the Hip in Infancy

Early diagnosis of congenital dislocation of the hip is essential if any real progress is to be made toward improvement of the over-all results. Careful inspection at the time of examination coupled with good roentgenograms obtained on the slightest indication and an intelligent early program of treatment will prevent the tragedies of late recognition with their attendant poor results.
