CORRECTION

In Dr. H. R. McCarroll's Follow-up Note, published in the January 1963 issue of The Journal, pages 204-205, it was erroneously stated that the first prerequisite for femoral lengthening was that shortening must be at least one-half of an inch. The first prerequisite for the procedure is: Shortening of a lower extremity must be at least one and one-half inches.
