The incidence of scoliosis was 19 per cent in those over fourteen years of age as compared with an incidence of 6 per cent in a control group of 200 patients of a like age. There was a predominance of right thoracic curvatures, but there was no definite pattern which could be attributed to any one kind of heart disease.
