Adequate roentgenographic examination is essential to proper evaluation of injuries of the ankle joint, therefore appropriate roentgenograms which demonstrate the various fractures and the ligament injuries have been reproduced. rotation and inversion have not been widely understood. For this reason, this report has laid great stress on the significance of ligament injuries and on the appropriate roentgenographic techniques for their diagnosis.
