RECONSTRUCTION OF HAND DIGITS BY TOE TRANSFERS

The transfer of one or more toes to the hand by the dorsal-flap method is entirely practicable and safe, and need cause no foot disability. A toe so transferred to the hand can add considerably to the function of an injured or deformed hand.
