SURGICAL TREATMENT OF FRESH INJURIES TO THE MAJOR LIGAMENTS OF THE KNEE

Major improvement in the management of injuries to athletes can be assured by early diagnosis and prompt definitive treatment. Nowhere is this better illustrated than in the surgical management of serious injury to the medial collateral ligament, anterior cruciate ligament, and medial meniscus of the knee.
