FULL ACTIVE ABDUCTION IN TRAUMATIC PARALYSIS OF THE DELTOID

In the absence of deltoid function, and with normal strength of other shoulder-girdle muscles, full active abduction can be effected, as has been illustrated by two patients with traumatic deltoid paralysis and active abduction.
