Determination of Hip-Flexion Deformity

The present method of estimating hip-flexion deformity is inaccurate because it is a measure of hip flexion plus pelvic flexion. The simple device described in this article has been found valuable in determining, from anatomical landmarks, the degree of hip flexion in relation to the pelvis.
